Synchronous fireflies, a rare and magical sight in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, inspired this print for National Parks Company. A warmly lit cabin adds a human element to the ethereal scene, inviting personal interpretation. Cool colors, the Milky Way, and dynamic linocut lines create a sense of mystery and movement.
This black-and-white rendering is the preliminary stage of my design, created to establish the linear patterns that guide the final colored illustration.
