I wanted to make a piece of art that would give out good vibes. Created totally in Photoshop, I started with a color sketch, figuring out the mood of the piece and deciding if my idea was worthy of carrying through to a finished piece. I then proceeded to a black and white version to work out any drawing problems and establish the flow of the linear textures that carry through the image. Then I finished by adding in color fields and blending the linework with the rest of the color.
The following artwork is the preliminary, black and white version of my design that I created first before proceeding to color. I used this drawing to plan the linear patterns that flow through the finished illustration.
