Spencer Butte and its iconic profile make a striking landmark on the southern skyline of Eugene, Oregon.
I started the image by rendering the detail first in black and white so that I could focus on the patterns created by the line work. Then, in Photoshop, I converted the line to color, added additional color, then orchestrated the piece to work together as a unified image.
